Roughing it out

It was 2 in the morning, and Selene hadn't slept a wink. Her entire dorm building was asleep, with the exception of the occasional student studying late at night or playing games. She just felt like she was burning up, and even slightly queasy. She didn't like it. If this would be her nights, she was in for one hell of a 9 month pregnancy. At the thought of something growing inside her, she felt a lurch in her stomach and immediately rushed to get to the bathroom, knocking things over in her haste. She threw the door open, and vomited into the toilet bowl, feeling sick to her stomach. She was sure it couldn't be morning sickness, she didn't think it would start this soon... but it may have been the sickening fact that she was pregnant... raped... unclean. After she'd been allowed off by Professor Near, she'd showered four times straight, scrubbing herself red and raw, and still she felt as if she was unclean... filthy... even felt as though she was empty inside (figuratively).

Keitaro walked into the dorm and heard something "Selene are you okay?" he asked her

She lay slumped against the side of the countertop in the bathroom, still close to the toilet, her breathing ragged. She hated feeling like this, and didn't know how she would possibly get through it. When she heard Keitaro ask if she was ok, she could only groan from her sitting position by the countertop.

Keitaro ran at the bath room stoped realizing he was about to kick it down he knocked "Is something wrong selene?" he asked her again

"I just don't feel well..." She said, weakly. Truth was, she felt like shit. She had yet to eat something, and it was already past noon. She needed to eat, but she needed to stop feeling sick first. It was like a never ending cycle. A catch-22.

"Morning sickness eh will you need to rest and i'll get ya some food." he told her.

"I'm hardly 2 weeks pregnant... I doubt I have morning sickness..." She shuddered, feel extremely empty, emotionally and physically.

"Right right." he said as he started to cook the eggs,bacon and toast. "Maybe just the stress of knowing your gonna have a kid?" he asked her

"I guess..." She said, resting her head against the counter, and closing her eyes. She felt like she was dying. The next 9 months were going to kill her.

He finished the plate and put it on the table "Like i said i'm here if you need anything." he said with a grin "The food is done by the way." he told her.

"Can you help me out?" She asked, trying to stand. She had had no idea that she would be this week after throwing up everything she DIDN'T even have. She felt beyond empty. She felt as if her stomach was caving in on itself.

Keitaro walked into the bath room and picked her up and walked back out to where he put the food and sat her down in a chair as he went back to his corner and started to read.

She started to eat, looking around as she did so. Nothing looked different, but everything felt different. She wasn't sure what it was, but everything just seemed foreign to her.

Keitaro started to cough rather hard "Damn." he said breathing hard as he took out a bottle of cough medican and took a drink right from the bottle

"Are you ok?" She asked, watching him carefully. The last thing she needed was to have him dying or passing out on her while she was feeling like shit herself.

"Yeah i'll be fine." he said as he shook his head

She watched him carefully for a few minutes, before finishing her food. She stood, shakily, and started towards her bed, needing to sleep.

"You need any help?" he asked her

"I'm fine..." She said, managing to get into the bed. She didn't pull the covers, undress, or put on pajamas. She simply lay there and stared at the ceiling.

"Alright if ya need anything ask." he told her as he fell down asleep in his corner

She nodded, trying to drift off to sleep. She knew she needed it, but she was almost positive she wouldn't get any sleep tonight. She also knew she'd quickly lose alot of sleep due to the pregnancy, and then to the child.
