Getting settled

Yumi looked around carefully. '1-109, 1-108, 1-107, 1-106, Ah. Here it is.' She thought, opening dorm room 1-105. She was glad she found her room. It made her feel a little better. Boy or girl. Who was her dorm mate? Did they really mean co-ed? Or was it just a joke? How was she supposed to get changed if there was a guy in the room? And sleeping? Her pajamas were not exactly the most modest of clothing... she was nervous, but excited. High School. College. The upper parts of her years. She was almost done. And at a certain age, she'd leave the house, and she'd never have to deal with her family telling her to find a real career and talent. She dropped her stuff next to the bed by the window, and yawned. Taking out her special folder, she started tacking up posters of her favourite musicians, characters, and celebrities. As well as a few pictures she'd received of people back home. It was her little slice of home and friends mixed with her aspirations and goals. She plopped on her bed, taking out her iPod and starting to play Rammstein, bobbing her head to it. She smoothed her skirt down, and used safety pins to pin it to her socks, making sure it didn't drop when she raised her knees. She was nervous about her new room mate, but she was glad it wouldn't be anyone related to her. She could finally get away from the family.

Keitaro knocked on the door to be kind in case his room mate was changing "Is anyone in there?" his voice queitly asked

With her music on, she didn't hear him, and kept bobbing her head, closing her eyes and bouncing her shoeless feet on her bed. She was really into the heavy guitar parts of Rammstein now, and was lost in the music and the rhythm of the two guitarists. She didn't answer the door, and kept her eyes closed.

Keitaro getting pi$$ed used his metal arm and nailed on the door making dents in it "HEY ANYONE IN THERE!" he yelled

She screamed and fell out of her bed. Scuttling over to the door, she threw it open from the ground, "God... you scared me..." She said, then saw him. 'Shit... he finally decided that it wasn't ok, and now wants to hurt me for breaking his glasses...' She thought, biting her lip and remained sitting on the floor. In her fear, she hadn't realized her Sharingan had activated, and she was able to see every move before he did it. She watched him carefully, hoping he wasn't going to hit her.

"Hey it's you your my room mate?" he said as he saw her on the floor and helped her up again "Sorry i didint mean to scare ya." said with a kind smile

"R-room mate?" She said, before it dawned on her. "OH! Oh... yeah..." She blushed. A guy was her room mate. That meant some serious issues for her. Changing, clothing, putting her stuff away without showing him everything would be a problem as it were. Things were going to be difficult, especially since she was shy enough around people, let alone guys in the same room, let alone guys who LIVED in the same room. She was nervous, but her eyes returned to normal now that she was no longer scared. "So yeah... this is the room..." She said, stupidly. She wasn't really sure how to go about keeping a conversation.

Keitaro just walked in and took out a blanket and pillowand layed them in a corner as he looked around "Better then most places i've lived." he said with a smile as he sat in his corner and pulled out a book and started to read

"Wait... is there no second bed?" She looked around. She'd not even thought of that. If there was no second bed, did that mean sharing beds? Or trading off the bed each night or week? What exactly would happen if there was only 1 bed in the room. And what exactly was the school doing putting 2 people in a room with 1 bed... 2 people of different genders.

Keitaro just sat in his little corner with a smile on his face reading his book looking like he had no problem in the world as he took off his jacket showing the metal arm with out realizing it

"Y-your arm..." She said, in shock. "What happened to it?!" She moved forward slightly, the part of her that cared for other people's pains wanting to reach out to him, the shy part of her wanting to stay away and just keep to herself.

"Huh?, OH SH*T!" he yelled covering up the arm "I-i rather not talk about it." he said looking away

She dropped her arm and plopped back on her bed. With 1 bed, there was definitely an issue. And with a mechanical arm, she felt bad for him. "Why don't you take the bed?" She offered, standing and pushing her bag out of the way. "I can sleep on the floor just fine." She watched him, waiting for a reaction.

"No some one like you shouldint sleep on the floor." he said as he pointed at the metal arm "This is the body of a sinner one that has got a second chance." he finished

"A sinner...?" She repeated, confused. She shook her head. She didn't understand any of it. Transmuting, sinner mechanical arms... it made no sense to her. She plopped on the bed, and then pulled her bag to her. She pulled out her night gown, and then looked toward him. He looked into the book, surely she could get changed without him noticing. She quickly took off her top and skirt and started throwing on her gown, getting ready to dive under the covers. Sheer gown meant almost fully ethereal. No way did she want to be seen in it.

Keitaro got up and walked into the bathroom with a outfit as he changed in there he came back out with a no sleve black shirt and brown baggy pants he took of his glasses and placed them on a dresser as he layed down in the corner and looked up at the celling

She was already hidden under her covers and reading in the dim light. She knew tomorrow was going to be a rough day, being her first in highschool, but she wasn't a person who really had much in the way of sleep. She'd be rested enough, though. She turned the page, and continued reading, her breathing steady, careful, relaxed.

Keitaro woke up early next morning as he looked at his calander "Oh yeah spring break no school." he said yawning as he went into the bath room and got into the shower

She sat up in the bed, having forgotten where she was, she kept her eyes closed, still sleepy, and flung the covers off herself, her feet on the ground, looking for slippers. 'Oh yeah... school...' She thought, and knelt on the ground, grabbing her stuff from her bag and slipping on her slippers. She walked to the bathroom and knocked on it. "Anyone in there?" She asked, her eyes still half closed. Forget the gown, she wanted a hot shower. She didn't care what was visible, nothing seriously important, it was like being in a bikini with a gown on. But the shower was calling to her. She knocked again, to find out if he'd gone into the shower or if it was free.

"Uhh uno momento!" he yelled out as the water turned off he put on a robe and walked out "Showers all yours." he said

She nodded, and moved into the bathroom. After undressing, she got into the shower and turned it on piping hot, taking out soap and shampoo. She proceeded to shampoo her hair, and wash it out. She stood under the shower for another 5 minutes, before conditioning, and leaving it in. She lathered some soap, and washed herself, before washing out the conditioner, and staying in the shower another 10 minutes. She'd spent a good 30-40 minutes in the shower before finally shutting off the shower and drying off. After wrapping her hair in her towel, she dressed in another skirt, pink and black plaid, with a black bra, holding her shirt. She couldn't put a shirt on until her hair was dry, but the bra wasn't revealing. Hopefully it wasn't an awkward thing if she went out there. She opened the door, and came out with steam pouring out after her. She moved to her bedside and pulled out her hoodie, placing it and her shirt on her bed, before sitting on top of her bed to let her hair dry.

Keitaro transmuted a punching bag to hand from the celling as he turned on some music move along with the beat with each punch growing stronger as the beat got more fast untill the final punched landed and sent it across the room into the wall "Damn hate it when i do that." he said then he noticed he was still in the rob as he went back into the bath room he with a black shirt and pants and a trench coat as he came back out he yawned

She had finally dried off her hair and was putting her shirt on. "So what is there to do around here?" She asked, looking over at him. "I have nothing better to do with my time now. I just finished my book." She yawned and stretched out, but kept her legs together. One downside to skirts was stretching. She stood and walked around a bit, trying to get comfortable.

"I'm as new here as you are i really dont know but i heard of a club in down town thats where i'm headin." he said

"Oh... ok." She said, scrunching her face slightly. Club. That would mean lots of people. She'd have to find her own thing to do. She didn't do well in clubs. Maybe she'd walk around the campus and look for stuff to do. She shrugged and pulled out her iPod, putting on some HIM. Softer stuff in the mornings, heavier as the day progressed. Heavy stuff during training, and either one during relaxation.
